A vehicle pursuit in Columbia Township Saturday ended in a crash on Montgomery Road, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
The police chase began at approximately 3:54 p.m. in the 3400 block of Highland Avenue after deputies were alerted to a theft in progress at the Home Depot on that road. The release states two unknown suspects, one man and one woman, got into a silver 2007 Dodge Caliber after being ordered to stop by deputies.
The vehicle fled westbound on Highland Avenue. Officers said a pursuit began.
The chase continued into Norwood where the suspect vehicle lost control and struck another vehicle that was stopped on southbound Montgomery Road. The release states there were no injuries as a result of the crash.

The suspects continued to flee in the Dodge Caliber, heading northbound on Montgomery Road. The release states officers terminated the pursuit in the 6000 block of Montgomery Road after about four minutes.
Officers said the pursuit reached speeds of approximately 45-50 mph.
