For the past few months, ESPN FPI has given Wisconsin football fans way too much hope. The Football Power Index, a measure of team strength that uses advanced statistics to project wins, absolutely loves the Badgers. For whatever reason, the numbers from FPI tell us that Wisconsin has the fourth-best chance at winning the national title. When you break it down game-by-game, the results are even more impressive.
