It seems to be new, perhaps since they added the “by tapping on the site you agree to our use of cookies”.
It seems that once the user taps on the page, or focuses on the input field it fails.
If I test this on a browser which already has successfully accepted cookies then I do not get the issue – it happens in incognito.
